COVID-19

At Hanabusa IVF, your health and safety are our top priorities. We are actively monitoring all developments related to COVID-19 and posting updates on this page.

We’ve seen a positive response from patients to our video visits. These will continue to be available from the safety and convenience of your home. Even new patients can see our physicians through video visits. Just call us to schedule an appointment, and we can help determine if you need an in-person or video visit.

We want you to feel confident about returning for your next in-person appointment. We have expanded safety measures, and, in many respects, your patient experience will be more comfortable, modern, and efficient than ever before.

We are back to being fully operational and we will resume monitoring in Suite 330 and procedures only in Suite 150, but ALL weekend monitoring and procedures will be in 150.

We made several changes to protect you and our care teams. For example:

  • Visitors: For your safety, and the safety of our patients and staff, there are limitations on visitors: we are not allowing partners or visitors to the office for appointments or procedures.
  • Screening at Welcome Stations: If patients do not have their masks, we will offer them one at check-in. For your safety and protection, you may complete your screening at the door by scanning the QR code and answering the screening questions on your phone.
  • Payment Collection: After your appointment, we will email you a billing statement, and then you will call to make the payment over the phone. You will skip the front desk and avoid unnecessary exposure.
  • Staff and Patient Protection: Our care teams follow CDC guidelines, have the proper personal protective equipment (PPE), and wear it at all times. We have also established screening and testing protocols for our care teams.
  • Disinfection and Cleaning: Our office is repeatedly and thoroughly sanitized throughout each day. Exam rooms are cleaned extensively between patient visits.

Due to COVID-19 precautions, we are only allowing patients to be seen in office. No visitors/partners allowed for office appointments or procedures.

STEPS YOU CAN TAKE TO AVOID GETTING SICK

To limit the potential spread of COVID-19, we recommend that our patients take the following steps:

  • Practice social distancing and wear mask in public
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • Stay home when you are sick.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
  • If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty.

We want to remind everyone about the importance of proper hand washing techniques. This is the best and easiest way to prevent the spread to you, your loved ones and the community. For best hand washing practices, please visit https://www.cdc.gov/handwashing/when-how-handwashing.html
